"Are we done yet?"
Simon groaned. "Alvin, you haven't even started yet."
Alvin pouted. "But I hate math! And I already did one!"
Simon looked at the paper. "76 + 60 = 7,660...?" Simon frowned at his brother. "You have got to be kidding me."
Alvin smiled. "Nope." Taking the paper back, he resumed putting in his answers.
Simon yanked the paper away. "Alvin, you're geting them all wrong!"
"So?" Alvin asked. "I'm DOING it, and I'm gonna turn it in. They didn't say I had to be right." He stuck his tongue out at his brother.
Simon closed his eyes, trying to stay calm. "Alvin...they don't have to say it. You know you're supposed to have the right answers."
Alvin rolled his eyes. "Well, if YOU want me to get the right answers, why don't YOU do it?"
"Because I'm not the one who hasn't turned in his homework for the past eight days!" Simon cried. "You're the one who doesn't pay attention in school!"
Alvin blinked in suprise. "Simon? You OK?"
"NO, I'M NOT OK!!!" Simon snapped. Alvin jumped back, startled by his big brother's outburst. "I'M SICK OF YOU DOING THIS!!!"
Alvin whimpered. He'd never seen Simon like this. "D-doing what...?"
"YOU KNOW WHAT!!!" Simon screamed. "YOU DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE AND GET ALL OF US IN TROUBLE!!! I'M SICK OF IT!!! I'M SICK OF THIS AND I'M SICK OF YOU!!!"
Alvin couldn't say anything. He wanted to scream back at his brother, but he couldn't even move. He could only stare as tears started to fill his eyes.
"What's going on up here?" Dave demanded, coming upstairs after hearing all the noise. He stopped when he saw the two brothers - Simon looking furious, Alvin looking terrified. "What happened?"
"Forget it," Simon growled, storming out of the room.
Dave turned to Alvin, who was still in shock. "Alvin? Are you alright?" Alvin didn't answer until Dave gently shook his son's shoulder. "What happened, Alvin?"
Alvin looked away. "N-nothin' happened..." he muttered. Dave watched as Alvin slowly stood up and left the room, leaving Dave in the dark.

Alvin is trying his best at math. Well, apart from he got the wrong answer that 76 + 60 = 7660. which of course he did his very best (The real answer is 130 from Alvin's homework). And Simon, he shouldn't yell at him. Of course that Alvin will make him so mad. But Simon shouldn't yell at him. If I was there, I could have a word with him.
